Pastor Barry
Associate PastorPastor Barry was born in Saint Paul, but spent his childhood growing up all over the country. He met his wife, Katie, while at Concordia University-Wisconsin and they have been married since 2008. They have been blessed with three children, two of whom attend Saint John’s.
Pastor Barry attended Concordia University Wisconsin graduating in 2008. He went on to attend Concordia Seminary. He served his vicarage in rural Alabama on the Gulf Coast before returning to seminary and graduating in 2012. Before coming to St. John’s, he served as an associate pastor near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for nearly six years.
Pastor Barry has a special passion for education, especially confirmation, welcoming new members, and connecting people to study God’s word in small groups.
When Pastor Barry isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending community gatherings like street fairs and festivals. Katie is always dreaming up fun and interesting activities for the kids to do at home, that is when she is not working on projects for mom’s ministry.
