Announcements & Reminders
Church Office Closed – Friday, July 3
Our church office will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day and will return to regular hours the following Monday. Sunday worship on July 5 will still be held at our regular times of 8:30 and 10:00 AM. We wish you a blessed holiday weekend!
Monday Night Worship Begins July 13
We are excited to announce an update to our weekly worship schedule here at St. John’s. Beginning Monday, July 13, we will offer a weekly Monday evening worship service at 6:30 PM. Summer often brings changing schedules, family activities, travel, and opportunities to enjoy God’s creation. We hope this new Monday evening worship service will be a blessing to you and your household. We’d love to have you join us as we worship together!
St. John’s Cemetery Columbarium Update
At the June Voters’ Meeting, it was shared with the congregation that the Cemetery Board has been investigating and considering the addition of a columbarium at St. John’s Cemetery.
The columbarium being considered would be an upright structure with space for up to 96 cremation urns. At this time, $20,000 has been pledged toward the project, with the total cost estimated at approximately $30,000. The project will not move forward until the full cost is covered.
If you are interested in helping fund this project or have any questions, please contact Jay Molnau at 952-393-3591.
