Sunday, August 23: Teacher & Staff Dedication / Backpack Tag Sunday

Join us at the 8:30 or 10:00 AM service as we pray for and dedicate our teachers and staff ahead of the new school year. We’ll also celebrate one of our favorite back-to-school traditions by sharing this year’s backpack tags!

Proposed Trinity Carver Merger: Town Halls & Special Voters’ Meeting

St. John’s will hold two informational town hall meetings regarding the proposed merger of Trinity Lutheran Church of Carver into St. John’s. Members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the proposal and ask questions before the Special Voters’ Meeting.

The town halls will be held Sunday, August 23 at 11:15 AM and Wednesday, August 26 at 6:30 PM, both in the Fellowship Hall. The Special Voters’ Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 13 at noon in the Church Sanctuary.

Copies of the informational packet and FAQ regarding the proposed Trinity Carver merger will be available in the Fellowship Hall beginning Sunday, August 16.

Sunday, September 13: Fall Worship Schedule Begins & Education Hour Returns

Join us as we begin our fall Sunday schedule, with worship services at 8:00, 9:30, and 10:45 AM. Our Education Hour also returns at 9:30 AM and includes Sunday School and Bible studies for all ages, from 1-year-olds through adults. Registration information and additional details for Sunday School and Bible studies will be coming soon. We look forward to welcoming everyone for worship, learning, and fellowship!
