Trail Life Program

What is Trail Life?

It is a Christ- centered outdoor adventure program for boys. Activities throughout the year include things like camping, archery, hiking, and meetings where boys learn about everything from plants and animals to first aid and flags.

Why is St. John’s involved?

We see the opportunity for boys to be mentored and grow not only in faith, but also in character through Christ centered boy focused programming that reinforces the mission of St. John’s.

Is this only for members of St. John’s or those in the school?

Any boy is welcome to join this group! The program is for boys from as young as kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. There are many St. John’s people there, but many others from all over the metro area.

When do you meet?

The troop meets roughly every other Thursday night from 6:30-8pm at St. John’s. In addition there are regular, “hit the trail” events where boys will go out and do everything from sledding to hiking to camping. For a complete schedule, including when the next meeting is, contact Pastor Barry at pastor.barry@stjohns-chaska.org.

How do I learn more?

Contact Pastor Barry at pastor.barry@stjohns-chaska.org for more information. We also invite you to visit a meeting to see for yourself what Trail Life has to offer for your family.
